Darin C. Gosda, Senior Vice President of Betz Commercial Brokerage, Inc., has been with Betz for over 15 years. Equipped with nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, financing and development, Mr. Gosda’s brokerage transactions aggregate nearly $300 million, and notably include:
- 500-acre Fred Couples Signature Course at Royal Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas;
- Blaketree National Golf Club, a 1,404 planned redevelopment outside of Magnolia, Texas;
- The Crossing @ 518, a regional retail center in Pearland, Texas anchored by Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Old Navy, and JC Penney; and One Fannin Center, a medical tower in the Houston’s Texas Medical Center,
and transactions involving American National Insurance Company; The Wortham Foundation; Parkway Properties, Inc.; Regency Centers, Inc.; Wal-Mart; HEB; Perry Homes; Royce Homes; Primrose Schools; Le Petite Academy; SystemsUnion; Panattoni Development; Christ the King Presbyterian Church; HomeUSA; Picerne Development; Granite Properties; Sugarland Properties; Mac Haik Enterprises; Hollywood Video; Sherwin-Williams; Ridgway’s; Whataburger; Boston Market; and The Q Sports Club.
Mr. Gosda has been recognized repeatedly, not only as a top producer for Betz, but also as among “Houston's Heavy Hitters: Who’s Who in Houston’s Commercial Real Estate” by the Houston Business Journal. Previously Mr. Gosda was a broker for a foreign investment advisory company, Vice President of First Heights Bank (a Pulte Home subsidiary), and an Experienced Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen & Company - Houston.
Mr. Gosda graduated from Cum Laude from Baylor University in 1985 with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, where he was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, and Beta Alpha Psi, Gamma Beta Phi and the Baylor Soccer Team. Mr. Gosda is licensed as a certified public accountant and as a real estate salesman in the State of Texas. He is the Associate Teaching Director of Community Bible Study, a member of Christ the King Presbyterian Church, a founding member of Royal Oaks Country Club, and a volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
Mr. Gosda was born in Ogallala, Nebraska, but has become a naturalized Texan since living in Corpus Christi, Austin, Waco and Houston since 1976. He enjoys family and hunting, fishing, golf, skiing, biking, ranching and traveling. He and his wife, Margaret, live in Royal Oaks Country Club in west Houston.
